Coordination and overhaul standard of water pump coupling and shaft

The main components of the water pump include motor, pump casing, impeller, sealing device, bearing, pump shaft and other main equipment, as well as couplings, which are connected with pump shaft and motor shaft to make the whole pump body run stably. Couplings and shafts generally use transitional fits. There may be a small amount of interference or a small amount of clearance. For couplings with longer hubs, a looser transitional fit can be used because the shaft hole is longer. Due to the rough surface processing, partial interference will naturally occur after assembly.

Overhaul standard

1. The fit of coupling and shaft is H7/js6.

2. The axial gap between the two ends of the coupling is generally 2-6mm.

3. To install the gear coupling, ensure that the outer teeth are in the middle of the width of the inner teeth.

4. When installing the elastic ring pin coupling, the elastic ring and the pin should be an interference fit and have a certain tightness. The diameter gap between the elastic pin and the coupling hole is 0.40～0.60mm.

5. The plane clearance of the coupling: the cold oil pump is 2.2～4.2mm, and the hot oil pump is 1.55～2.05mm larger than the front series.

6. The rubber ring for coupling is 0.15～0.35mm smaller than the perforation diameter.
